I am YUNG STREAT , an aspiring rapper from Texas. I do not write songs; I write life. In this life, I am chasing a dream, music... This is the story of a man who, growing up, only knew one path, one way. The streets! This man, so lost, found another path,education.
He attended Wiley college, (seen recently in the movie THE GREAT DEBATORS) this man attending college with a G.E.D., campaigning against a 3.0 g.p.a student won Freshmen Class President. It didn't last long- so off to the streets-, the wages were not enough for his expensive lifestyle and before his family knew, he got in his cadillac; no license, no insurance driving north,chasing his dream for music to hip hop’s home NYC.
So the Grind began, Spring 2008 Yung Streat was on corners in every borough pushing his demo straight to his listeners ears. the streets felt it and

Yung Streat had his first ever performance at BET’s 106 & Park’s Freestyle Friday. To date, Yung Streat has personally moved 30,000 units here on the east coast. Chasing his dream, one fan at a time.
